Londra'ya geleli tam 98 gün olmuş. Bugün günlerden 25 Kasım 2017, Cumartesi.
Buraya Press Association'da gazetecilik kursuna katılmak için geldim.
2016 yılında Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Felsefe bölümünden mezun oldum. Okulum biter bitmez TRT World'de haber departmanında çalışmaya başladım.
Felsefe okurken gazetecilik yapmak hiç aklıma gelmemişti. TRT World'e başladığımda ne kadar güzel ve tatmin edici bir iş olduğunu öğrenmiş oldum. İşimi çok seviyorum ve bu alanda uzmanlaşmak istiyorum.
Bu amaçla 20 Ağustos 2017 günü Londra'ya Press Association'a geldim.
Okula başlamadan önce İngilizce'nin beni bu kadar zorlayacağını düşünmemiştim. Okulda herkes 'British'. Yani yaklaşık 40 kişilik bir grupta anadili İngilizce olmayan tek kişi benim.
İlk haftalar tahmin edebileceğiniz üzere zorlandım. Hem sevdiklerimi hem doğduğum büyüdüğüm şehri özlemek, bir yandan derslerin hızına yetişememek beni yordu. Ama insan zamanla alışıyor. Bir şekilde yaşamaya azmedince ve öğrenmeye inat edince işler kolaylaşıyor. Sonuç olarak okulumun son üç haftası kaldı. Bu aşamaya gelmek benim için büyük bir mutluluk.
Şimdilik en güncel haliyle kendimden bahsettim.
Yayınlarımı hem Türkçe hem İngilizce yapacağım.

Who am I?
It has been exactly 98 days since I have come here in London. Today is 25th of November, 2017, Saturday.
I came here to attend Press Association's Journalism course.
I got my degree from Boğaziçi University Philosophy department in 2016. As soon as I finished the school, I started working at TRT World at news department.
While I was studying philosophy, I hadn't thought of being a journalist. As I started at TRT World, I learnt that it is such a beautiful and satisfying job to do. I love my job and want to be professional at this area.
With this purpose, on 20th of August, 2017, I came to London to attend Press Association's course.
Before the course started I didn't think that English would be a trouble for me. At the school everybody is British. So among about 40 people, I'm the only one whose mother tongue is not English.
As you may guess, I had some hard times during the first weeks. Missing my beloved ones and the city I was born and raised in, on the other side, trying to catch up with the lessons tired me. But you get used to it in time. Somehow you dedicate yourself to live here and to learn, then things get easier. So, to put in a nutshell, I have last three weeks at school. It is a great happiness for me to come to this stage.
So far, I talked about myself with the latest.
I will post both in Turkish and English.
